荊元宇任國際技能競賽國際裁判 專業獲肯定
（軍聞社記者蔡宗恆臺北20日電）國防大學理工學院院長荊元宇少將，近期獲勞動部技檢中心聘請，前往巴西首都聖保羅市擔任「第43屆國際技能競賽飛機修護職類」的國際裁判，這也是中華代表隊首次參與「飛機修護職類」，我國此次在15個參賽隊伍中，總成績名列第3，深獲國際肯定。
荊元宇表示，素有「技能界的奧林匹克」之稱的國際技能競賽，本屆共有63個國家和地區計1189名選手，在建築技術、創意藝術和時尚、資訊和傳播技術、製造和工程技術、社會服務及交通運輸等6大類別、50項技能進行競技，是全球規模最大的技能競賽，此次任職於空軍航空技術學院的黃彥霖，榮獲其所負責的「飛機修護職類」優勝佳績，我國參賽選手都感到與有榮焉。
荊元宇指出，他在任職於空軍航空技術學院副校長期間，因肩負國內技能競賽「飛機修護職類」裁判長一職，必須規劃國手培訓事宜，透過飛機修護職類分區賽及全國技能競賽模式，使國內各界熟悉競賽方式，選拔國手進行培訓，希望選手能精益求精參加國際賽事。
荊元宇表示，在經過一年多的選拔與培訓，參與競賽的選手能獲得佳績，我國的團員們都深感光榮，未來他將藉由這一次的成功經驗，持續提升理工學院教學品質，教育學生多加培養專業職能，以增加個人競爭力及團隊榮譽。
