引渡屠獅牙醫受審 白宮表態

美國牙醫帕爾默獵殺辛巴威明星獅王「塞西爾」引發公憤，白宮請願網站上要求將他引渡至辛巴威受審的連署人數，短短一天就突破10萬門檻。白宮7月30日表示，將會研議此事，並由司法部作出回應。美國內政部魚類暨野生動物管理局也已就這起事件展開調查。

28日提出的請願案稱，塞西爾是辛巴威的象徵，如今慘遭明尼蘇達州牙醫帕爾默盜獵，他們籲請國務卿凱瑞和司法部長林奇女士與辛巴威當局充分合作，將帕爾默引渡至辛國接受司法審判。

依照規定，所有請願案只要在提出後1個月內達到10萬人連署的門檻，白宮就須作出回應。截至7月31日，連署人數已逾16萬6000。

帕爾默在案發後神隱，魚類暨野生動物管理局一直找不到人，於是透過「推特」呼籲帕爾默或其代表立即和官方聯絡。帕爾默本月初在辛巴威西部萬基國家公園引誘塞西爾至園外，射殺後將牠砍頭、剝皮。

辛巴威環境部長穆欽古里女士31日呼籲美國當局准許引渡巴默到辛巴威受審。她表示，帕爾默曾花錢進行非法狩獵，是個「外國盜獵者」，而檢察總長已展開將他從美國引渡至辛巴威的程序。
